Currently Imploding is our current means of getting ourselves out to the masses. The majority of posts will be products of Martha or Lisa's brains, but we are also interested in guest stars! Anything and everything creative has a home here, so browse, read, view, experience, enjoy, and assess!

We met on the message boards of our favorite band, The Secret Machines. After spending hours getting to know each other via AIM and Myspace, we decided that we have a common goal and similar dreams when it comes to our art and our future.

Lisa Nachtman:
I'm a college student at the University of Iowa. So far I am a film major but that could change at any given moment! I want to write, whether it's novels, screenplays, poems, short stories, or articles for movie/music publications. I am very passionate about textual art. I don't know if that's the proper way of describing it, but what I mean is that I love art that involves words. Aural art is also a major part of me, I am just more often than not a spectator instead of a participant. I love music, I just don't know how to create it yet!

Martha Rogers:
I'm a 21 year old married basketcase, who works all the time making pizzas like a pro. I live in a tiny little tourist town on Cape Cod (isn't all of Cape Cod a tourist town?) with my husband. I was accepted to the New England School of Photography but because of a number of things I was unable to attend. I still keep my camera at hand at all times, and I love taking road trips just to capture images. Music and writing has been a huge part of my life since I can remember. I always wanted to be a writer. Then photography came along. So I bounce back and forth between the two happily. I'm quite excited about this project.
